Blue Origin is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to help establish and optimize a new space thruster manufacturing line in Huntsville, Alabama. The role covers manufacturing process development for receiving inspection, fabrication, assembly, testing, integration, and refurbishment; hardware configuration, quality, cost, schedule, capacity, repair/rework, supplier coordination, equipment integration, root-cause analysis, material handling, and packaging. Candidates need a relevant engineering bachelor's degree, at least three years of manufacturing/manufacturing-engineering experience, hands-on hardware manufacturing expertise, engineering drawing and model interpretation, lean-methodology familiarity, analytical and project-management skills, and U.S. work authorization under export-control rules. The B-shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., and relocation is provided.
