Description
Fathom is hiring a Methods Development team member to review customer-supplied documents and translate them into step-by-step manufacturing requirements, including materials, purchased components, and outside processing. The role uses Solidworks, ERP systems, drawings, specifications, CNC, metal finishing, cleaning, and assembly processes in an ISO 13485 or similar environment, while collaborating with sourcing, procurement, production, and design teams. Responsibilities include developing manufacturing methods, managing special projects, answering technical questions, reviewing ECOs, and improving design for manufacturability. Candidates need CNC manufacturing experience, the ability to read drawings and specifications, Solidworks or CAD proficiency, and Microsoft Office familiarity; finance and P&L experience is a plus.
