Description
The posting describes a continuous improvement engineering role in a discrete manufacturing environment. The position develops and implements lean manufacturing improvements, designs manufacturing cells, establishes metrics and KPIs, performs root-cause analysis and corrective actions, contributes to cross-functional cost and lead-time reduction projects, maintains manufacturing documentation, and manages projects to cost and schedule goals. A manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree is preferred, along with at least five years of experience, lean manufacturing knowledge, analytical and communication skills, project management experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with time/methods studies; DraftSight, SolidWorks, and union-environment experience are advantageous. The annual pay range is $78,451.34 to $117,732.17.
