Description
Helicon is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to own production processes from build readiness through steady-state manufacturing, work with customers on design-for-manufacturing, lead mechanical design for robotic cells including effector design, fixturing, and layout, and install, procure, and test equipment. The role also collaborates with software engineers to incorporate manufacturing constraints into Argos. Candidates should have strong first-principles physics knowledge and an engineering-fundamentals track record; industrial-robotic tooling, sensor integration, and high-volume composite or hydraulic-press experience are preferred. The role is based in Bethlehem and requires U.S. government export-authorization eligibility.
