Description
The Manufacturing Engineer designs engineering solutions for moderately complex products, including manufacturing methods, processes, cost estimates, capacity models, time standards, tooling, layouts, operating procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance plans. The role supports new product introductions through end-of-life, collaborates with internal and outsourced manufacturing and development partners, solves complex problems, leads projects, and mentors less-experienced staff. It is a full-time position with no shift premium in Malaysia and recommends a four-year or graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline, typically 4–7 years of experience, and certifications such as Six Sigma and APICS.
