Description
The Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer will support production operations and continuous improvement initiatives across HYDAC’s Birmingham, Alabama and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania facilities. The role combines manufacturing engineering with Lean methodologies, including process analysis, improvement projects, tooling and floor-layout development, vendor and work-instruction support, automation opportunities, value-stream mapping, and employee training. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience, at least 5 years of CI/Lean experience, Lean and Six Sigma expertise, SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency, blueprint and GD&T knowledge, and strong analytical and project-management skills.
