Description
JTEKT North America is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for its Vonore, Tennessee manufacturing plant. The role provides technical support for continuous improvement, executes trials to reduce scrap, cycle time, and other manufacturing losses, supports maintenance and startup activities, develops setup and maintenance procedures, investigates non-conforming product issues, participates in manufacturing planning reviews, and plans process development trials. The position requires a BS in Engineering, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, plus at least three years of experience in metal removal and/or close-tolerance assembly manufacturing, along with CNC, tooling, machine-tool, fixture, assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC or robot programming knowledge.
