Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will support the full product lifecycle from prototype design and build through production, with a focus on reducing manufacturing costs and improving yield. Responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes, applying design-for-manufacturability principles, creating PFMEAs, defining production layouts and procedures, supporting digital twin and simulation activities, preparing technical requirements and manufacturing documentation, managing BOMs and routings, identifying tooling and fixturing needs, and supporting full-rate production and continuous improvement. The role requires knowledge of complex assemblies and new product introduction, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAD, MRP systems, SAP or similar ERP systems, and the ability to support cultural and process change.
