Description
Protolabs is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, design, set up, modify, optimise, and monitor specialist manufacturing processes. The role leads new product and process introductions, evaluates and tenders equipment, collaborates with research and development, improves manufacturing methods and factory layouts, supports training, and resolves technical problems. It requires knowledge of CNC machining, plastic injection moulding, mould making, mechanical aptitude, measurement instruments, and metalworking machinery, along with strong planning, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. The position is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, and includes holiday entitlement, training, wellbeing support, and a life insurance policy.
