Description
The Manufacturing Engineer role can be assigned to Process, Production, or Technology and is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, techniques, standards, metrics, and technology solutions. The Production variant leads Lean and Six Sigma implementation, troubleshooting yield and quality issues, and monitoring process performance; the Technology variant develops manufacturing technology roadmaps, pilot testing, scale-up plans, and technology implementation. The role requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of higher degrees plus 0–2 years of experience.
