Description
Tesla is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize electrical interconnection processes and equipment for battery products, including laser welding and other high-volume manufacturing methods. The role involves design for manufacturability and reliability, process validation from prototype through full-volume production, proof-of-concept development, and experimentation. Candidates need at least three years of relevant engineering or equivalent experience, expertise in electrical interconnect processes, GD&T and experimental design, domestic and international travel capability, and a degree in engineering, physics, materials, or equivalent experience.
