Description
Vector Atomic, an IonQ company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to transition quantum optical clock systems from prototype to scalable production. This role involves owning key aspects of the manufacturing process for photonic and opto-mechanical assemblies, focusing on automation, repeatability, and yield. The engineer will collaborate with physicists, optical engineers, and hardware teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes, design automated assembly and testing, lead NPI, build production tooling, identify process variability reduction, implement SPC, troubleshoot integration issues, document procedures, and evaluate vendor qualification.
