Description
Applied Materials is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore to develop and maintain fabrication methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The role coordinates product improvements and new-product releases, applies engineering and design-for-excellence principles, estimates and reduces manufacturing costs, improves quality, sets time standards, recommends tooling and process requirements, develops test procedures, and helps identify root causes and corrective actions. A bachelor’s degree is required; semiconductor or other industry experience and general semiconductor knowledge are preferred. The position is full time and may require clean-room work and physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and using hand and power tools.
