Impulse Space is hiring a Staff or Principal Manufacturing Engineer for CMC Applications to own the end-to-end manufacturing capability for ceramic matrix composite hardware in ultra-high-temperature aerospace applications. The role covers material selection, preform architecture, densification and joining processes, tooling, inspection, qualification, rate production, supply-chain strategy, and mentorship, working across propulsion, structures, materials, quality, and manufacturing teams. Applicants need a relevant engineering or materials science degree and 5+ years of experience in high-temperature materials or advanced composites, with alternative education and experience requirements also provided.
