Description
The Manufacturing Engineer II will support the scale-up, development, validation, and sustaining of ocular medical device manufacturing processes at Glaukos. The role develops and improves manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and process parameters; troubleshoots production-floor issues; performs cost and yield improvement analyses; creates engineering documentation, CAD models, drawings, protocols, procedures, and FMEAs; and applies DOE, statistical methods, Six Sigma, GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements. The engineer will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, coordinate projects, and may lead manufacturing project teams from new product concept through production release.
