Description
Textron Systems is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead manufacturing engineering for complex Department of Defense weapon-system production, including electro-mechanical, cabling, and precision-machined assemblies. The role covers process development, tooling, production documentation, design-for-manufacturability, root-cause investigations, manufacturing readiness, automation, and cross-functional technical leadership, while mentoring junior staff and representing manufacturing in customer and government activities. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, 5–9 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or complex regulated industries, strong CAD and manufacturing-process expertise, knowledge of AS9100 and configuration control, ERP/MRP/MES experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
