Spirit AeroSystems is hiring an on-site Manufacturing Engineer in Wichita, Kansas to coordinate manufacturing and tooling plans, implement advanced manufacturing technologies, develop assembly and tooling requirements, perform trade and cost studies, and support integrated product and process teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of related engineering experience, with manufacturing project management, process design, and cross-functional problem-solving experience. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing engineering or aerospace education, automation experience, CATIA and SAP knowledge, and strong communication skills. The position is union-represented and offers a mid-level pay range of $85,600 to $131,200 or a senior-level range of $105,400 to $161,600, with health insurance and other benefits available to eligible employees.
