Infinitesima is hiring an Optics Manufacturing Engineer in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, to develop and optimise manufacturing processes for complex optical, laser, photonics, and precision mechatronic assemblies used in semiconductor metrology. The role covers process development, optical alignment, new-product introduction, production scale-up, tooling and test development, and cross-functional engineering leadership. Candidates should have experience with optical or photonics systems, precision assembly, NPI, DFM, DFA, and manufacturing process development, with semiconductor equipment, AFM, laser manufacturing, and automation experience desirable. The position offers a hybrid working model, with most employees working onsite three days per week, and includes a salary of £45,000 to £58,000 plus equity, private healthcare, pension, and share options.
