Description
The Manufacturing Engineer designs and implements manufacturing processes for safety-critical powertrain components in a high-volume automotive plant. The role covers process design, automation, cost reduction, quality compliance, equipment selection and maintenance, lean and Six Sigma improvement, documentation, and production staff training. It requires a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, at least seven years of shop-floor manufacturing engineering experience, CAD and manufacturing-layout skills, and the ability to travel and work outside regular hours when needed. The position is based at 6500 Cantelon Drive, Windsor, Ontario, pays CAD 80,000 to 110,000, and requires legal eligibility to work in Canada.
