Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to manage the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the pulping area at its Naheola Mill in Pennington, Alabama. The role leads asset performance and reliability, troubleshoots process, quality, and equipment issues, prioritizes repairs and shutdowns, supports capital projects, performs root-cause analysis, and applies disciplined operations and predictive or condition-based maintenance strategies. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline, or a high school diploma/GED with five years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience, along with equipment troubleshooting, manufacturing equipment experience, and Microsoft Office experience.
