Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer supports the Assembly area by developing manufacturing processes, procedures, production layouts, work instructions, and digital data environments; implementing automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing technologies; analyzing factory data and statistical process control; and driving continuous improvement. The role interfaces with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and other stakeholders; supports equipment and material-handling procurement; applies lean and six-sigma methods; and addresses equipment, safety, and ergonomics issues. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in engineering, at least 1–3 years of experience depending on the degree, U.S. citizenship, and preferably manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, cable and harness, and electromechanical assembly experience.
