Description
The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements manufacturing processes, procedures, production layouts, equipment installation, and material-handling systems for assemblies and fabrication. The role supports assembly and/or fabrication areas, interfaces with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and other stakeholders, uses SAP, dPLM, 2D/3D modeling, statistical process control, and data analytics to improve productivity and quality, and initiates corrective actions for equipment and process issues. The position requires a BS in an engineering discipline and three years of related experience, with Lockheed Martin seeking U.S. citizenship; five or more years of CCA manufacturing experience and Lean Six Sigma experience are desired.
