The Manufacturing Engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes, production layouts, equipment installation, fabrication, and material-handling procedures for defense-industry assemblies and test equipment. The role also drives automation and robotics adoption, analyzes 3D model data, evaluates equipment performance, applies statistical process control and data analytics, and supports product design. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a defense production environment, hands-on hardware-building experience, and expertise in electrical and mechanical schematics, DFM, Lean manufacturing, and project cost estimation. The position offers a full-time salary range of $104,900 to $194,700 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
