Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will support Lockheed Martin’s Morfius development program by developing manufacturing processes, procedures, production layouts, equipment installation, fabrication, and material-handling operations. The role focuses on product manufacturability, design for cost, automation, robotics, 3D model-based manufacturing data, statistical process control, factory data analytics, and continuous improvement, while also providing feedback to product design and traveling to missile and fire-control sites and suppliers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a Secret security clearance, and extensive experience with complex electromechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and production environments.
