Western Digital Technologies G.K. is recruiting a Production Engineering Development Engineer (Mechanical Equipment Design Engineer) for its Japan corporation. The role leads the development of next-generation manufacturing equipment and tools from concept through prototype evaluation, supplier coordination, overseas mass-production implementation, and post-launch maintenance. Responsibilities include concept design, experiments, specifications and cost estimates, supplier orders, prototype testing, and cross-functional project leadership.
