Description
Emerson is hiring an Engineering Intern to apply technical expertise in product production, select and recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment, develop manufacturing processes, recommend design changes, solve production problems, support test results and design reviews, and participate in engineering change authorizations and lean initiatives. The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, zero years of related experience, full-time in-person work, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include a degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, or materials science engineering, a GPA of 3.0 or above, prior internship experience, and strong communication skills. The hourly pay is $24-$28, adjusted for the candidate’s year in school and experience.
