Description
L3Harris is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in Rochester, New York to support the production of high-reliability electronic hardware for tactical satellite equipment. The intern will assist with SMT solder assembly, mechanical integration, environmental testing, work instructions, process procedures, tooling qualification, non-conformance reviews, engineering changes, labor standards, process controls, new product introductions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering or a related field; soldering, CAD, 3D printing, Lean Six Sigma, and statistical software experience are preferred. The schedule is 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off, and the New York salary range is $22 to $40.50 per hour.
