L3Harris is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in Rochester, New York to support the production of high-reliability electronic hardware for tactical satellite equipment. The role covers SMT solder assembly, mechanical integration, environmental testing, work instructions, process procedures, tool and equipment qualification, non-conformance reviews, engineering changes, labor standards, process controls, new product introductions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering or a related field; soldering, CAD, 3D printing, Lean Six Sigma, and statistical software experience are preferred. The schedule is 9/80, with a New York salary range of $22 to $40.50 per hour.
