Model/Z is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop a manufacturing engineering team in a fast-paced modular housing factory environment in Los Angeles. The role focuses on scaling and improving manufacturing processes, validating and documenting production methods, managing factory layout and tooling, supporting new product ramps, and collaborating closely with Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production. It requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, 5+ years of manufacturing experience including 2+ years in leadership, and knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, GD&T, CAD, and MES systems. The position is mainly on-site with occasional remote work and offers a salary of $90K-$130K plus comprehensive benefits.
