Description
The Manufacturing Floor Engineer provides hands-on engineering support directly on the manufacturing floor, partnering with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, Automation, Facilities, and Engineering to troubleshoot equipment, restore production, improve reliability, reduce downtime, and maintain safe, compliant operations. The role investigates recurring failures using root cause analysis and equipment performance metrics, supports preventive and predictive maintenance, continuous improvement, equipment modifications, validation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, documentation, training, and engineering projects in cGMP and cleanroom environments. It requires at least two years supporting manufacturing equipment in an industrial setting, with strong mechanical troubleshooting and knowledge of electrical controls, PLCs, reliability methods, maintenance systems, and regulated manufacturing practices.
