Apple is hiring Manufacturing Optimization Engineers to lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives at contract manufacturing partner factories in India. The role covers target setting, project implementation and tracking, sustainability improvements, lean strategy, supplier coordination, best-practice sharing, and digital manufacturing activities such as discrete-event simulation, CAD/CAM factory layout design, plant control systems, and ergonomic studies. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or above in industrial or mechanical engineering or a related field, at least five years of manufacturing or engineering experience, familiarity with continuous improvement and time-study methodologies, and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
