VIAVI is hiring a Process Engineering Technician IV to serve as a senior, self-directed process owner for advanced manufacturing processes supporting thin-film-based pigment production. The role leads roll-coating and post-process operations, process monitoring, complex troubleshooting, metrology, data analysis, quality management, technical documentation, training, and engineering projects. It is a 24x7 production-support position requiring 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and requires at least four years of technical manufacturing experience, an associate degree or equivalent technical experience, advanced Excel and statistical analysis skills, and the ability to work independently with limited onsite support.
