Description
The Manufacturing Production Planner supports day-to-day manufacturing planning and scheduling by creating work packages and instructions, managing materials, coordinating with inventory and purchasing teams, monitoring production and quality standards, addressing material shortages and workflow disruptions, and reporting work-in-progress status. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, blueprint-reading experience, at least three years of relevant manufacturing or planning experience, and proficiency with material requirements planning and scheduling software. It is a full-time, eight-hour Monday-to-Friday shift in Newport News, Virginia, with health, dental, vision, life, retirement, and paid-time-off benefits.
