Description
The Manufacturing Automation Engineer designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts using automation; supports the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electromechanical systems and automated equipment; manages the lifecycle of automated processes and equipment; and provides engineering guidance while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires a four-year technical degree, at least three years of manufacturing experience, and knowledge of robotics, conveyors, vision systems, programmable controllers, and Lean Six Sigma.
