Tulip is hiring a Solution Engineer to design, build, and deploy customer-specific solutions on its Frontline Operations Platform for major manufacturing customers in Japan. The role involves embedded shop-floor work, integrating PLCs, MES, ERP, and quality systems, troubleshooting complex operational and technical issues, leading deployments, advising on architecture and reliability, and translating customer needs into scalable solutions. Candidates need at least five years of manufacturing or industrial software experience, including four years in customer-facing or consulting work, along with strong project management, communication, and business-level Japanese and English skills. The position is remote for 2026 with plans to open an office in 2027, requires a valid Japanese work visa, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
