Description
AkroFire is hiring a Manufacturing Technician 2 to hand mold silicon- or neoprene-coated fiberglass onto tools according to drawing specifications. The role uses small hand tools, verifies output against standards, maintains manufacturing documentation, follows work instructions, and maintains a clean work area. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to read technical drawings and perform repetitive hand operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement, and other benefits.
