Description
Tractable is hiring a contractor Electro‑Mechanical Assembly & Test Technician to assemble production units for LUMA, a drive-through vehicle inspection scanner, at its SLC facility. The role involves installing electrical hardware, mounting electronic sub-assemblies, routing and labeling cabling, flashing firmware, running diagnostics, performing vehicle-based functional tests, completing QA checklists, and documenting build issues. Candidates need at least two years of electro-mechanical assembly, field-service, or technician experience, basic electrical and mechanical reading skills, hand-tool and light-soldering proficiency, Windows/Linux command-line ability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders or scissor lifts. Compensation is $27–$30 per hour.
