INNIO is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Test Operator, also described as a Test Technician, for its Production Testing team in Welland, Ontario, Canada. Reporting to the Lead Production Test Engineer, the role operates, maintains, and troubleshoots complex engine and generator test bench systems, including data acquisition, engine controls, tuning, cooling, and PLC systems. Responsibilities include testing Waukesha engines and gensets, analyzing performance data, preparing reports, leading root-cause investigations, conducting quality inspections, supporting rigging and de-rigging, mentoring associates, collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams, and ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. The position requires a diploma or degree in a relevant engineering technology field or equivalent experience, hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills, and availability for multiple shifts and weekends.
