Description
AFL is hiring a Manufacturing Technology Engineer – Injection Molding & Tooling to oversee external global molding and tooling suppliers and manage the design, build, commissioning, validation, and maintenance of injection and compression mold tooling. The role partners with Product Development and Design Engineering, leads DFM and mold-flow analysis, approves tool designs, manages supplier RFQs and project schedules, troubleshoots molding defects, and supports plastic material and lifecycle engineering. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least three years of injection mold tooling experience, hands-on troubleshooting experience, CAD proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
