Google is hiring a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to support manufacturing test development for new and existing hardware designs. The role involves writing test plans, developing Python-based automated functional, installation, and burn-in tests, designing and deploying test platforms for manufacturing partners, analyzing yield and field-escape issues, and defining manufacturing test strategies. The position requires a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, eight years of relevant hardware test or validation experience, three years of Python test-tooling experience, and experience with manufacturing test solutions for compute or server hardware. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, NPI test lifecycle experience, hardware troubleshooting, and server or custom-silicon architecture knowledge. Compensation is $144,000–$208,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
