Axcelis is hiring a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer Co-op for a six-month assignment from January 1 to July 2, 2026, onsite in Beverly, Massachusetts. The role involves designing, developing, validating, and maintaining electrical and mechanical manufacturing test solutions, including automated test equipment and custom fixtures; analyzing test data; debugging hardware and instrumentation; and supporting continuous improvement. Candidates must be candidates for a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, manufacturing, or a similar engineering field and be familiar with CAD, schematic and PCB design, fabrication, measurement, and project-management tools. The position offers a $1,000 travel stipend and a U.S. base salary range of $20.42 to $35.70.
