Description
OpenAI is hiring a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own manufacturing test strategy, development, and execution for complex AI hardware systems. The role covers ICT, board-level functional, tray-level, and system-level manufacturing and bring-up testing across EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp. Responsibilities include defining test coverage, developing test plans and scripts, collaborating with hardware, diagnostics, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams, debugging failures, improving yield and test efficiency, and establishing scalable manufacturing test standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience and at least five years of manufacturing test engineering or related hardware test experience.
