AeroVect is hiring a Mapping Engineer to own the end-to-end creation, validation, and deployment of high-definition maps for its autonomous airport tractors. The role manages mapping requests, edits HD maps using JOSM and Lanelet2/OpenStreetMap tooling, submits map changes through a repository and Map CI pipeline, validates changes in simulation and on the tractor in Atlanta, documents testing results, maintains map hygiene, and coordinates with external mapping vendors. The position is based on-site in Atlanta and is described as an entry-level opportunity with training provided.
