Description
The client is hiring a Marine Advisor to provide consultancy and technical support for offshore projects, rig moves, and specialist marine activities in Baku, Azerbaijan. The role covers vessel selection and vetting, marine safety and compliance, contractor and vessel-owner performance, chartering, emergency preparedness, HSEQ reporting, audits, and incident investigations. It requires a Master Mariner background or equivalent marine qualification, offshore oil and gas experience, knowledge of maritime regulations, and fluent English. The position is resident, five days per week, starting ASAP and lasting one year with renewal possible.
