Description
Snef is hiring an Automation Engineer for its SNEF Naval Design branch in Concarneau. The role leads the design, configuration, validation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of onboard process control and automation systems, including PLCs, drives, HMIs, industrial networks, test benches, FAT, HAT, and SAT. The engineer will also perform diagnostics, coordinate with shipyards and customers, and ensure compliance with maritime standards. A two- to five-year post-secondary qualification in automation, electrical engineering, industrial computing, or an equivalent field is required, along with PLC, HMI/SCADA, and industrial-network skills; initial naval experience is ideal. The position may require international travel and a Category B driver's license.
