THOR Solutions is hiring a mid-level Marine Mechanical Engineer (Auxiliary) to support the United States Coast Guard’s Ship Design Team in Baltimore, Maryland. The role provides technical support and documentation for marine vessels, ship machinery, auxiliary systems, hydraulics, weight-handling equipment, rudders, piping, pumps, valves, and HVAC; develops system documentation and specifications; conducts auxiliary-system analysis and design; and leads technical data packages and trade studies. The position is full-time and onsite at the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, with up to 10% travel for ship checks, and requires a Secret security clearance eligibility, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and 3–5 years of progressive marine mechanical experience. The anticipated pay range is $80,000–$110,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
