Description
The Paint Technician prepares and applies primers, top coats, varnishes, paints, fillers, and other finish products to vessels, equipment, shipyard and marina buildings, and other surfaces. The role includes surface preparation, sanding, color mixing, spray and hand painting, protective measures, waste handling, inventory support, documentation, and communication with supervisors, staff, vendors, and contractors. It requires climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in changing weather, with at least three years of finish-painting experience preferred.
