Description
This role involves developing and expanding the market presence of the marine underwriting line by adhering to established underwriting guidelines and achieving targeted loss ratios. Key responsibilities include liaising with APAC marine underwriting teams on new risks, conducting engineering-focused reviews of technology, performing survey information reviews, advising clients on risk mitigation, enhancing the APAC Marine Team's profile through thought leadership, completing various technology and risk assessments, proactively targeting revenue streams, collaborating with the claims team on large claims, assisting underwriters with risk selection and understanding new technology, and contributing to a common reporting and risk scoring framework.
