Description
The Marine Superintendent oversees vessel safety, navigation, cargo and commercial readiness, regulatory compliance, HSQEEn improvement, security risk preparation, maintenance follow-up, inspections, audits, vetting, incident investigations, management of change, crew training and appraisal, and ship-shore crisis activities. The role reports to the Fleet Manager and requires either at least two years of senior management experience onboard or one year in a similar shore-based role, along with a Master’s Certificate of Competency.
