Description
Canal Barge Company is hiring a Mariner Development Specialist based in the greater New Orleans, Louisiana area to lead and improve new hire mariner onboarding, Deckhand Orientation, shore-side assessments for promotion, and vessel-based coaching and safety support. The role requires travel, residence within commuting distance of the work location, and at least three years of marine operations experience including onboard mariner experience, with strong leadership, communication, and training/coaching capabilities.
